8/24/2018 New build!
Desiderium » Devlog
A new demo build of Desiderium is now available as promised! We got some very helpful feedback from everyone who played the game at the Connecticut Festival of Indie games at Connecticon last month, and after making some adjustments and improvements based on that feedback, I have a new demo build ready for everyone to try! Some of the most notable changes/additions since the last build include:
- 3 new scenes
- You can now press the jump button to pull yourself up onto a ledge
- Improved lighting
- Certain key items in the environment have been made more noticeable
- Slight layout changes to certain scenes to address some sign-posting issues
- More models have been added to certain scenes
- More items to inspect for flavor text
- Player now recovers faster after taking damage from the shadow enemy
Also if you play this demo, please consider filling out a feedback survey linked here.
